Leon Britton Photography is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information you submit will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties for any purpose, at any time, unless prior consent is obtained from you, the relevant authority permits it, or a third party has a legal right to the information. Any information held is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and ICO guidance, and personal information is deleted from our records after the legally required retention period has passed following any contracted work.

We do not keep or record personal email addresses used to contact us for our own marketing purposes. Business clients using our paid services may be added to our marketing list, with the option to unsubscribe from any email at any time. Anyone added to our email list is stored via Mailchimp, under Mailchimp’s own privacy policy, and this information is only ever used by Leon Britton Photography.

Your email address is used solely as part of our contractual obligations to you.

I am the data controller for any information that passes through this website, and I am the only person with access to it.

• I will not sell or rent your information to any third party.
• I will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information is collected through this website in three ways: anonymously, directly, and via a third party.

1. Anonymously — this may include your IP address, device type, general location, which pages you visit, and how long you spend on them.

2. Directly — collected when you make an enquiry or book a photography service: your name, contact details, and details about your session.

3. Third party — if you pay online, your card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe, who specialise in secure payment processing. We only receive confirmation that a transaction has taken place, along with the payee name, date, and amount.

Your personal information is held only for as long as necessary for the relevant activity, or as set out in any contract you hold with us. It is used to:

• Carry out any obligations arising from contracts we enter into with you.
• Seek your feedback on the services we provide.
• Notify you of any changes to our services.

The only person with access to information collected through this website or any other communication is Leon Britton Photography. We will not sell or rent your information to third parties, and we will not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Any personal information you provide is treated securely to protect against loss, misuse, or unauthorised alteration. That said, no information transmitted over the internet can ever be guaranteed 100% secure, so while we take care to protect your data, we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.

If we provide you with a password to access online galleries, you are responsible for keeping it private. Card and other sensitive payment details are encrypted and protected via SSL by our third-party payment processor.

This website may contain links to other sites. This privacy policy applies only to the Leon Britton Photography website, so we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of other sites you reach via links from ours.

If you are aged 18 or under, please get a parent or guardian’s permission before providing us with any personal information.
