KNOWSLEY REGISTER OFFICE
Getting Married at Prescot Registry Office
Prescot Registry Office sits on the town’s historic High Street, in Prescot’s Conservation Area, close to the Shakespeare North Playhouse and St Mary’s Parish Church. It’s around 8 miles from Liverpool city centre, easily reached via the M57/M62 or by rail from Liverpool Lime Street.
The registry office offers three licensed ceremony spaces — the wood-panelled Priestcote Room (up to 50 guests), a Small Ceremony Room for more intimate weddings (up to 10 guests), and an outdoor Garden & Gazebo (up to 50 guests) for couples who’d like their ceremony outside.
MY EXPERIENCE AT THE VENUE
Photographing Your Wedding at Prescot Registry Office
Whichever room you’re booked into, my approach stays the same — documenting your ceremony naturally and making the most of the space and light on the day, without turning it into a staged photoshoot.

What Couples Say
We booked Leon in for our wedding and I can’t recommend him highly enough — goes above and beyond in every way and helps settle everybody’s nerves.
— Dominic Pike
Leon looked after my daughter’s wedding recently in Prescott. He did an excellent job combining his technical skills with the camera with shepherding us through the marriage ceremony with his humour and excellent people skills. Lovely personality. Strongly recommend him for any photography requirements you may have. He will not disappoint you!

PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE VENUE
Making the Most of Prescot Registry Office
The Priestcote Room’s wood panelling makes a warm, classic backdrop — its traditional finish photographs beautifully without needing much extra styling.
Choose the Garden & Gazebo if outdoor photos matter to you — it’s a simple way to get natural light and greenery into your wedding photos without leaving the venue.
Prescot’s historic High Street is right on your doorstep — the Conservation Area around the registry office, near St Mary’s Church and Shakespeare North Playhouse, offers a few extra minutes’ worth of lovely backdrops if your timeline allows.
