Pricing on this page is for weddings that fall within a 30 mile radius of our studio at L20 8HN. For events beyond this, a small charge is added to cover additional travel and potentially accommodation — please contact us for more information.
Dates are secured by a non-refundable booking fee, which is deducted from your final balance, followed by final payment 7 days prior to the wedding day. Full terms and conditions available on request.

This service includes coverage for a set number of hours, focused on the interactions, laughs, hugs, speeches, and dancefloor moments that define your event. It's wedding storytelling, just without the ceremony.

MY STORY
Why Do I Shoot Weddings?
In 2003, after 11 years together, my wife and I got married at St. Chad’s Church in Kirkby. It was an unforgettable day — full of joy, laughter, and celebrations that carried on late into the night.
When everything settled, it was the photographs we turned to. They mattered more than anything.
But while they captured parts of the day, they did not fully reflect how it felt. Important moments were missing, some images didn’t quite work, and overall, we were left wanting more.
That experience stayed with me.
Just weeks later, I picked up my first DSLR camera. I quickly realised that great wedding photography is not just about technical ability — it is about awareness, timing, and understanding people.
Today, that shapes everything I do.
I focus on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds — the big moments, the small ones, and everything in between — so when you look back, you do not just see your wedding, you remember how it felt.
That is why I approach every wedding with care, attention, and the intent to capture it properly.

Every Moment Makes The Cut
When I shoot a wedding, I take a lot of photographs, not just the polished, picture-perfect ones, but the everyday moments too. The in-between smiles, the quiet conversations, the whole room together in one place.
I do this on purpose. For a lot of families, a wedding is one of the only times everyone is properly together. It's not something I want to edit down to a tidy highlights reel, it's a complete record of your people at that moment in time.
I'm also aware that not everyone at your wedding will be around forever. Grandparents, older relatives, people who don't get photographed often. Those images matter more than any technically perfect shot ever could, which is why I'd rather give you more than you need than risk leaving something out.
Every gallery includes the beautiful shots and the ordinary ones. All of it is part of your story.

When you choose a second photographer, you are not just adding coverage — you are capturing more of your day, from more perspectives, as it unfolds.
I work alongside my daughter, Amber-Jade, who joins me at weddings where additional coverage is needed.
She has a strong eye for storytelling and allows us to capture far more of what is happening around you. While I am focused on key moments, she is often documenting reactions, guest interactions, and the details that might otherwise be missed.
During the ceremony and reception, we work together to capture different angles and genuine moments as they happen — from the exchange of glances to the unexpected bursts of laughter.
The result is a more complete record of your day, with greater depth, variety, and coverage from start to finish.
This is particularly valuable for larger weddings, busy timelines, or when both of you are getting ready in different locations.

I'm based at The Secret Warehouse in Bootle, and most weeks that means a wedding somewhere across Liverpool and Merseyside, sometimes further afield. City venue, countryside barn, or something smaller and more personal, it's the same approach every time: capture what's actually happening and stay out of the way while I do it.
Liverpool, Bootle, Crosby and Southport are where I work most often, and the coverage looks the same wherever the wedding is. Natural, consistent, and true to how the day actually felt.

Do you travel outside Liverpool for weddings?
Yes. I’m based at The Secret Warehouse in Bootle, but I photograph weddings across Merseyside, the North West, and further afield for destination ceremonies. Pricing on this page covers weddings within a 30 mile radius of the studio (L20 8HN); beyond that, a small charge is added to cover travel and, where needed, accommodation.
Can we book a second photographer for our wedding?
Yes — my daughter Amber-Jade joins as a second shooter on weddings that need extra coverage, capturing guest reactions and candid moments while I focus on the key parts of the day. It’s available as an add-on (£299), or included as standard with The Legacy package.
How many photos will we receive?
It varies with the length and pace of the day, but as a guide we typically deliver between 50 and 300 edited images per hour of coverage. Every gallery includes the polished, standout shots alongside the everyday, in-between moments — not just a tidy highlights reel.
How does payment and booking work?
Your date is secured with a non-refundable booking fee, which comes off your final balance. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the wedding. Full terms are available on request.
What happens if the weather turns bad on the day?
British weather is never guaranteed, so I plan for it. Having covered weddings at Liverpool’s biggest and trickiest venues in all conditions, I adapt on the day — working with your venue’s indoor spaces, covered areas, and natural light so your day is documented properly whatever the forecast.
