Holding an event at DYSCO? I’m Leon Britton, an award-winning Liverpool event photographer — this page covers what to expect from your event photography here.
DYSCO is a three-level venue on Stanley Street in Liverpool's Cavern Quarter, themed around a 1970s-style discotheque and holding a 24-hour drinks licence. The middle floor, styled as the disco itself, fits up to 150 people, with the venue's overall capacity running to around 150 standing or 50 seated.
It's used for a mix of regular club nights and private hire, making it a strong option for parties, celebrations and events that want a genuinely different atmosphere to a standard function room in the city centre.
Address: 27 Stanley Street, Haus of Fun, Liverpool L1 6AA.

The disco theming is designed to be photographed — mirror balls, coloured lighting and retro decor all give strong, distinctive images without needing much extra direction.
Three levels mean the party doesn't stay in one place — worth moving between floors through the night to capture the full range of the event, not just the main room.
Yes — coloured lighting and low-light dance floors are something I’m well set up to photograph.
Yes — the Cavern Quarter is well within my regular coverage area in the city centre.
