Getting married at SCALE, Liverpool? I’m Leon Britton, an award-winning Liverpool wedding photographer — this page covers what to expect from your wedding photography here.
SCALE is a converted warehouse venue at the Tapestry Building on Kempston Street, right in Liverpool city centre. Soaring vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, steel beams and factory-style windows give it a distinctive industrial character, while an open vendor policy and open floor plan let couples shape the space around their own vision, from an intimate ceremony to a full reception.
The venue also operates as a photography studio and events space, so it's used to hosting a wide range of celebrations, and its sister studio Fabric Studios — with its own infinity cove — is available as an add-on for couples who want an extra space on the day.
Address: The Tapestry Building, 68-76 Kempston Street, Liverpool L3 8HL.

The exposed brick and steel beams give a strong industrial backdrop — worth leaning into for portraits rather than working around it — it's a big part of what makes the venue distinctive.
The large factory-style windows are a good source of natural light — positioning key moments near them can reduce how much additional lighting is needed during the day.
Yes — SCALE is well within my usual coverage area, right in the heart of the city.
Yes — the open floor plan is designed to flex from ceremony through to reception in the same space.
