I recently had the privilege of being commissioned by Sefton Council to capture images of the retailers who are continuing business as usual at Bootle Strand Shopping Centre. Even as the centre undergoes a significant regeneration, these businesses remain committed to serving the local community.
It was an exciting challenge to document the resilience and vibrancy of these retailers, highlighting that despite the ongoing transformation, the heart of the Strand Shopping Centre remains bustling with activity. The images I captured are now displayed on hoardings around the centre, and I’m proud to have been part of this incredible project.
Supporting local businesses is crucial during times of change. This regeneration project is a reminder of the importance of standing by our local retailers, and I’m honoured to help tell their story through my photography.
